Please carefully read our general terms and conditions for all purchases on our webshop. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in case you require additional clarification. Thank you for your attention.   

1.1 This webshop is officially registered with the Chamber of Commerce. Our Chamber of Commerce number is provided on our website, along with our contact details.

1.2 Your data is strictly confidential. We never share your personal data with a third party.

1.3 We strive to provide you with excellent service at all times. If you have any doubts concerning the purchase of a product, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

2.1 You have 14 days to change your mind after purchasing a particular product. If you are unsatisfied with the purchase within this period, you may return the product to us. You will need to pay the shipping costs for returning the product in question. You will receive a credit note for the purchase amount, minus the shipping costs.  This amount will be reimbursed to your account.

2.2 Products that are returned to us must have the original packaging and be in the same condition as they were received.

3.1 The purchase agreement is officialised when you have indicated that you have agreed to the general terms and conditions and you have completed the payment.

3.2 The agreement has been concluded electronically, by filling in the necessary fields and agreeing to the general terms and conditions.

3.3 As a customer you are obliged to fulfil your payment obligation to the webshop.

3.4 After you have made a purchase, you will receive a confirmation of your purchase by email.

 4.1 Our prices are based on cost determining factors at the time of the offer. As long as a product has not been paid for, the Arts for Africa Foundation reserves the right to reduce of increase these prices at any time. Once a product has been paid for, Arts for Africa

4.2 The prices stated on our webshop always include local VAT / taxes. Although uncommon, some countries may occasionally impose import taxes on your purchase upon arrival, before it is cleared at customs.  If import taxes are charged at customs in your country, you will be responsible for paying these.

4.3 Once a product has been paid for, you will not be charged extra if Arts for Africa increases the sales price of the product thereafter. You will not be eligible for discount in case Arts for Africa decreases the rate of the product thereafter.  

5.1 Every basket is unique. You’ll receive the basket shown in the photograph on our shop page. The actual colour tone of the basket may vary slightly between one light source and another. This basket was photographed indoors with a BR-2240 natural daylight set consisting of 3 softboxes.

5.2 Arts for Africa will dispatch the product to you within 5 working days after receipt of payment. Generally shipment takes place within 2 days after payment. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the article cannot be dispatched, we will inform you in writing and we will refund the amount paid.  You may also choose for an alternative item in our shop. If this item costs more than the original item purchased, the difference will need to be paid. If this item costs less than the original item purchased, the difference will be refunded.  

5.3 Arts for Africa is based centrally in Europe, in the Netherlands, from which products can be dispatched efficiently across the globe. All purchases will be given a track and trace code.  As an indication, the delivery time in the Netherlands varies between 1 and 3 days, the delivery time to other countries in Europe, North America (USA and Canada), Australia, Russia and most Asian countries (Incl. Japan and China) tends to vary between 5 and 15 days. Delivery to a few countries (amongst others, Brazil, Argentina may take up to 25 days. Due to circumstances beyond our control, delivery may deviate from these indicated times.  

6.1 In case delivery is taking longer than expected, please contact us. We are happy to help you trace your product. In case an item is lost or stuck somewhere in transit, Arts for Africa can open a complaint / investigation procedure with the postal services.

 6.2 Complaints about the product itself must be reported to us in writing. Describe your complaint as specifically as possible. We value our customers and we will do our utmost to come to a suitable solution.

6.3 Complaints are usually handled by us within 14 days. Complaints are always handled in writing.

6.4 If you discover a defect in one of our products, this should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.
